Postsecondary Retention Specialist
Ashley Anderson is a postsecondary retention specialist with Kauffman Scholars, Inc. (KSI). In this role, Ashley works with over 100 scholars at the collegiate level, guiding and nurturing their academic, social and emotional growth, contributing to her students’ goal of overall postsecondary success. Anderson has served in numerous roles within KSI, including postsecondary advisor, alumni ambassador, legacy intern and was a member of the inaugural class of KSI scholarship awardees.
Prior to joining KSI, Ashley worked as an assistant house manager for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City, where she managed daily programs and operations of the Cherry Street House. She is active in community and emotional health endeavors in Kansas City, where she serves as the founder and CEO of My Angel Lives, an organization that empowers survivors of pregnancy and infant loss.
Anderson earned her bachelor’s of arts in communication studies with an emphasis in journalism from Fort Hays State University.
